Funeral Service will be held for Carlton Joseph Dalbany, 75 at 11 am Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Fletcher Funeral Home Chapel, New Iberia, LA with Rev. Arthur Lee Alexander officiating. He will await the resurrection at Heavenly Rest Cemetery,

A gathering of family and friends will be at the funeral home Thursday, 8am until the time of service.

A resident of Jeanerette, LA he passed on April 15, 2012 at Dauterive Hospital, New Iberia, LA. He served in the United States Army/National Guards.

He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Kenneth Dalbany, Lema Boutte Jr. [Carlene] and Danny Brooks all of Jeanerette, LA; six daughters, Judy Dalbany Thibodeaux of Houston, TX, Cora Robertson Clay and Stacy Marks Parker [Gregory] of Jeanerette, Tannia Francis Thompson [Jonathan] of New Iberia, LA, Linda Gabriel Lancelin [Alfred] of Baldwin, LA and Madeline Borel Robertson of Jeanerette, LA; one sister Thelma Rose Carroll [Watt, Sr.] of Dallas, TX; and his companion, Betty Briscoe, of Jeanerette, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He now joins in glory with his parents, Olive Chanet Fontenot and Jake Dalbany; three sisters, Alzina D. Robertson, Mabel D. Madise and Mary Johnson; five brothers, Charles Fontenot, Sr. Raymond Fontenot, Roy Fontenot, Durrell Derbigney and Herbert Lofton Derbigney.

Active pallbearers will be, Rashaune Dalbany, Tavoris Marks, Joseph Francis, Dequandrick Menard, Wade Phillips and Justin Phillips

Honorary pallbearers will be, Kenneth Dalbany, Lema Boutte, Jr., Lema Boutte, III, Danny Brooks, Gregory Parker, Jonathan Shaw, and Alfred Lancelin.

Final arrangements entrusted to Fletcher Funeral Home of New Iberia, LA. Condolences may be expressed at www.fletcherfuneralhomes.org.
